I know! An outfit post! It feels like forever since I’ve done one. The combination of being home most the time doing research, and the grim weather recently, there hasn’t been much of a chance to take photos. Blah blah, excuses! Anyhow, I’ve missed it.
I love outfits like this, because I feel put together and smart whilst actually wearing ridiculously comfortable clothes! I was given a gift card to House of Fraser at Christmas and I spent most of it on a beautiful Michael Kors handbag but with the remainder I ended up buying this shirt which is still in the sale here. I absolutely adore equipment blouses but they are way out of budget for me, and the great reduction on this one made me think it might be pretty good quality.
I bought it online and used the in-store collection service, which was great (and free!). I’m always anxious buying online because I can be really fussy about the fabric and fit of clothes, which you just can’t tell online. I was so pleased when I got this home and tried it on! The fabric is so soft and it drapes beautifully (the pictures don’t really show this). I also love the button I got a size above my usual because the 12 wasn’t in stock and also with my bust, shirts can be difficult! It is a little on the large size but I am happy with that because I like how easy it is to wear. The colour was also pretty unclear from the pictures and is labelled as Ivory, but is in fact this lovely blush pink, which is going some way to satisfy my pastels cravings! It has become a really essential basic in my wardrobe already. I love it.
