While I’m writing this it is blowing up quite a storm outside. No change there then! When these photos were taken last week, it was just the same. Its that time of year where the woolly hats and scarves are an essential part of your outfit. Winter is definitely peeking its head around the corner now. I hate not keeping my head and throat covered as the weather turn colder. I always seem to get unwell otherwise. Such a southern softie despite the years spent up north! There are forecasts of snow and ice over the next few weeks, so I hope you’re all wrapping up warm too. We’ve got the logs in for the fire, our Landrover back from the garage, and the woolly hats are out of storage. Let the cold weather come!

I’m headed back to work tomorrow, after two weeks of half-term. Its been a busy break though, with a trip to Newcastle to see my sister, and whole ton of work on the house and garden. I am still pretty sad I’m not going to see my sis again until February some time. Her living over 7 hours away is a bit rubbish to be honest! Anyway, now its time to get moving for the really busy run up to Christmas! I’m quite excited for it even if a little scared about facing some brand new challenges along the way. Time is going to fly! Speaking of which, I need to finish getting ready for it before the day is gone! Happy Sunday everyone
