chambray and curls

This Christmas, I am feeling so lucky to have been welcomed into a whole new family, as well as having all my family from home sending me gifts and love. At this time of year, I can’t help but send an extra wish and thought out to those who haven’t been so lucky this year, and who need our care and love as well. I also have many thoughts for those no longer celebrating with us, especially my dad. Also for those affected by all the many disasters that have occurred, from the wars going on in so many places and those who’ve lost their homes in the floods in the UK and Hurricanes elsewhere, to those whove had their babes taken from them in Sandy Hook, and those who simply don’t have anyone to share the day with. Christmas is a time of year that can bring so much unhappiness and loneliness for many, and so I am extra grateful for all that I have.I also say a huge thank you to those like my sister who are working at Christmas, to keep our essential services like Hospitals, Fire Stations and Police Stations open whilst we all gorge ourselves on mince pies!  I hope you are all surrounded by love today, and I am sending mine to you too. Give all your loved ones an extra hug and kiss (even if they do drive you nuts 90% of time!)
