Like I said at Christmas, I do love an excuse to get dressed up! Big lunch with my family = a good enough reason for feeling a little bit fancy (even if I might have had to undo a button on the trousers after the 3rd yorkshire pud!) I have had this Prabal Gurung x Target dress hanging on my my wardrobe door for months now and been staring at it with longing all that time. I bought it off ebay after cursing Target’s lack of international delivery- Prabal Gurung is one of the few designers whose collections make me swoon every.single.time. Seeing as the liklihood of me being able to afford anything of his proper line is about as likely as me waking up tomorrow looking like Jessica Alba, I wasn’t going to miss the chance to own something of his design. Anyway, this beautiful, drapey, printed shirt dress has been begging for warm days and bare legs… which I have now given up on as clearly we are living in a mini arctic bubble in the UK for the foreseeable future. So why not pay homage to Prabal’s tunic & trouser combos from his Spring/Summer 2013 collection and save the frostbite? Leather trousers and shirt dress it is 🙂 I guess I’ll try again in a few months for the summery look!
