Last Sunday I dragged the young man out to go and look at the car show over in Eastbourne- every year they cover the lawns on the seafront with incredible vintage cars, in carious stages of renovation. You can wander around, ooh and ahh over the pretties, chat to the owners and daydream a little. I love old cars and I’ve decided that next year Roxanne, my 1969 Landrover, is going to be polished up and parked up on those lawns too 🙂 I’m also thinking of the London to Brighton rally… Anyhow, enough of boring you about the cars! It was a beautiful sunny day, one of those where if you squinted you could almost pretend you were somewhwere by the med (wishful thinking, I know). I don’t know about you, but when the sun comes out in springtime, I always have the dither over what to wear. After months of layers and coats and socks and jumpers, exposing any flesh feels somewhat terrifying (never mind blinding in the case of my limbs). This maxi skirt is just what I needed to help ease the transition to summertime clothing. Now if only the fricking sun would come back and let me wear it again!
Wearing- Skirt, shoes and tee: Primark; Hat: ASOS; bag: Sienna Ray
