I’ve been hunting for a white lace dress for yonks. They are just so perfect for summer- grunged up a bit with boots and parkas at festivals, pretty and preppy with fresh blue by the seaside or bohemian with vintage kimonos and hats. I have seen them everywhere and fallen deeply in love. So, I did what I usually do when I can’t get an item out of my mind and headed to Ebay. Alot of searching later, this baby was mine for a grand total of £1.59. Not too shabby!
I tend to feel a bit overexposed in summer generally anyhow what with wearing actually only one layer… From experience, I know that anything likely to cause real exposure makes me very uncomfortable and just ends up unloved at the back of a wardrobe so I love that is is slightly longer than most whilst still over the knee and modest on the bust. I couldn’t resist wearing it at the first opportunity, which in this case was for our little jaunt to Brighton. Lace and chunky black leather belt. Lots of delicate jewellery and a mannish hat. I like the contrasts. I felt pretty good in this get up I must say 🙂
