Have you ever shopped the ASOS Green Room edit? It is my new favourite for when I want an easy, ethical fashion fix. It is so simple and to be honest, I’m amazed more retailers having clicked into what they’re doing. Every item included in the edit, which range from some UK made ASOS pieces, fairtrade clothing and ethical designers, to one of a kind pieces and reclaimed fabrics runs, has icons in its description box that lets you know more about its manufacture and why it is ethical. I flipping love it, because it makes it so easy to decide on buying that piece rather than having to trawl through to some obscure page of manufacturing ethics filled with meaningless jargon. On their green room page they even have a little glossary explaining each icon, so you can see which ones are ticked by each icon. As a result, I have spent way too much time happily browsing through pages of clothes and lusting after much of it. When I saw this jumper reduced to £11 I couldn’t help but buy it! The perfect slouch sweatshirt, with enough pattern to make it interesting, and all made under fair trade principles, and supporting local communities. Not bad, eh?
