High waist black jeans. Maybe the most essential wardrobe basic there is and I have been without them for months since my old ones finally bit the dust with a gigantic tear. Jeans shopping is a nightmare at the best of times, but trying to find an ethical pair at the same time? Nigh on impossible. After many, many hours trawling the internet, Nobody Denim are now my new crush. Everything is made in Melbourne, Australia and accredited by Ethical Clothing Australia and they product the holy grail of the perfect skinny jean. Their Cult Skinny might be all I buy forever more. They are pricey but I managed to snag this pair second hand for under £10, as a way of testing the waters with their jeans and I can confirm- it is love. When these die, I’ll be buying another pair in an instant, full price or not. The dye is a true black, they are soft enough to be comfortable but not so much they lose their shape in a single wear, the waist is truly high and the branding is subtle. Perfect!
