REad by a log fire in a Scandi Log Cabin
{I would love to be curled up with a book by that fire. Click the photo for the source}

Doing: A whole load of prepping. I finished my last job on Thursday, the new one starts tomorrow (eep!), we bought a car and it feels like this week has been chock full of to do lists. Yesterday the husband and I took our little car out for a run to Lyme Park and spent the day escaping from it all in the Autumn sunshine and it was bliss. Today is back to reality and I have to admit, I’m feeling a little nervous- I’m someone who likes to be prepared and going into the unknown is always a little nervewracking. Keep your fingers crossed for me tomorrow!
Loving: The beautiful Autumn weather. How can you not feel happy on a crisp, sunny Autumn day? I really struggle with the short days and I know soon that I’ll be driving to work and home again in the dark so I’m soaking in the bright days whilst they’re still here.
Wearing: Eyeshadow. I’ve pretty much always stuck to simple black winged liner but felt like a little change recently. So I picked up the Sleek Storm palette and have been having a little play around recently. I’m loving the deep greens and golds, and it feels good to mix it up a little.
Daydreaming: Of a little country hideaway. When the seasons change, I really miss living in the countryside! When we lived in Sussex, we had a log fire, the fields were just a few minutes walk away, you could see all the trees turn golden and the air would smelt like damp earth and wood smoke as the temperatures dropped. And I do miss all that- Autumn doesn’t really feel like Autumn without it. So, I’m spending far too long looking for little cottages with a log fire that maybe we could escape to one weekend… How cosy does that photo above look?

Links of the Week:
Google Analytics can feel like a minefield but this makes it SO clear for anyone struggling.
I am all about the Rugby. Not watching it so much, but definitely admiring the men. And their thighs. Seriously though! #SorryNotSorry
Loving all the gorgeous ethical Autumn goodies in Hannah’s Wishlist. I have been lusting over the Reformation rib knits hard.
I found the real life version of Society Barbie on Instagram and I can’t look away. So much pretty adventuring.
